1. Eligibility and enrollment
The program is invitation-only and open to approved participants age 13 or older. Participants age 13–17 must confirm that a parent or guardian approved their participation and provide that adult's email address. Hydr8Stx may request additional confirmation before continuing participation or making a payment. Participation is personal and may not be transferred.
2. Your relationship with Hydr8Stx
Athlete Board members are independent ambassadors, not employees, agents, legal representatives, or franchisees of Hydr8Stx. Participation does not guarantee assignments, a minimum number of sales, or minimum earnings. You may not make commitments on behalf of Hydr8Stx.
3. Referral links, codes, and attribution
Hydr8Stx may provide you with a personal referral link and Shopify discount code. The link remembers your referral in that browser for seven days and attempts to apply your code to the shopper's cart. A qualifying order must contain your active code when Shopify records the paid order. If a shopper removes or replaces the code, uses a different ambassador's code, blocks the referral technology, or completes the purchase another way, the order may not be attributed to you. Hydr8Stx may correct clear attribution errors in its records, but attribution is not guaranteed when the assigned code is absent from the order.
4. Qualifying sales and commission
Unless your dashboard shows a different prospective rate, the standard commission is 20% of qualifying merchandise sales after discounts. Taxes, shipping, gift cards, cancelled items, refunded amounts, fraudulent transactions, and other non-merchandise charges are not commissionable. The rate stored with an order controls that order. Hydr8Stx may change the program-wide or participant-specific rate for future orders, but not retroactively reduce the rate already stored for a paid order.
5. Holds, reversals, and disputes
New commission remains pending for 15 full days after payment. Refunds, cancellations, order edits, suspected fraud, and chargebacks may reduce, reverse, or temporarily hold commission, including after it first appears in the dashboard. A lost payment dispute reverses the related commission; a won dispute may restore it. The dashboard and commission ledger will show these adjustments.
6. Payouts and tax information
Hydr8Stx handles payouts manually. Once your approved, unpaid balance reaches the $10 threshold, Hydr8Stx generally records payment on or around the 15th of the first calendar month after the month in which the threshold was met. For example, if the threshold is met at any time in January, payment is generally recorded on or around February 15. Approved balances below $10 roll forward until the threshold is met. Before any payment, you must complete the required Athlete Board onboarding and Hydr8Stx must verify a completed W-9 through its separate tax-document process. If onboarding, tax verification or required payout information is incomplete at the scheduled payment time, payment may be delayed until a later monthly payment cycle after all requirements are met. An incomplete requirement does not erase legitimately earned commission, which remains subject to the attribution, refund, hold and other rules in these Program Terms. A participant under 18 must use payout and tax information belonging to a parent, guardian, or other adult legally able to receive the payment. You are responsible for your own taxes, reporting obligations, and accurate payout information. A dashboard payment record confirms that Hydr8Stx marked the payment as made; actual delivery may depend on the chosen external payment method.
7. Honest promotion and required disclosure
Promotions and endorsements must be truthful, based on your genuine experience, and must not make medical, safety, performance, ingredient, or other claims that Hydr8Stx has not approved. Whenever you share Hydr8Stx, your code, or your link, clearly and conspicuously disclose that you may earn a commission. Put the disclosure close to the recommendation or link and make it hard to miss—for example: “I earn a commission if you buy through my Hydr8Stx link or code.” A platform's paid-partnership tool may be used in addition to, but not instead of, a clear disclosure where the relationship might otherwise be missed.
You must also follow the current Athlete Board Playbook, which provides practical disclosure, school-affiliation, content-permission, and brand-safety rules. If the Playbook conflicts with these Program Terms, these Program Terms control. Participation does not by itself give Hydr8Stx permission to use your content in advertising; any broader use requires separate permission or a release.
8. Prohibited activity
Do not use spam, bots, fake accounts, artificial transactions, misleading claims, impersonation, unauthorized paid advertising using Hydr8Stx trademarks, coupon-code sites without permission, or any unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or harmful practice. Do not alter approved brand assets or present yourself as speaking for Hydr8Stx. Hydr8Stx may investigate suspicious activity and hold related commission while it does so.
9. Account changes and termination
Hydr8Stx may deactivate a code or end participation for program misuse, brand or safety concerns, legal requirements, inactivity, or other legitimate business reasons. You may ask to leave at any time. Historical orders, adjustments, and payment records may remain visible and will continue to be governed by the rate and rules applicable to those orders.
10. Program and terms changes
Hydr8Stx may change or discontinue the program. Changes to commission rates or eligibility apply prospectively unless a correction is required for fraud, refund, dispute, or calculation error. If Hydr8Stx publishes a new terms version, you may be required to accept it before continuing to use the dashboard. The general Hydr8Stx Terms of Use and Privacy Policy also apply.
